Datafeed and Niche Marketing

Okay, I have been very slow as I just discovered the use of datafeed to easily create a robust and active niche blog e.g. http://www.charmbraceletsonline.net/

I am not even using datafeed on this site as yet (still in the awaiting for approval process).

To those who are not aware of a datafeed, it is what the name suggests, basically a service that feeds data to your website and blog and is updated with frequency set by those who are providing you the data feed.

In this instance, because I am dabbling as an affiliate for my niche site above, the datafeed that I have requested from my merchants are termed as “affiliate datafeed”.

Once my affiliate datafeed is approved, my niche website will be automatically updated with products, links, images and even prices - making the creation of niche site so much easier - whew!

Are there any cons to affiliate feed? I honestly don’t know but I can’t see any immediate negative issues with affiliate feed well maybe it makes me lazier and too dependant on merchants’ data.  Also, Google does not like automated and robotic sites…so make sure you put some Vitamin C (content) as well. ;-)

By the way, the gist of Neil Shearing’s 10 Day Cash Secret is datafeed specifically tailored for Wordpress and of course you get other added value ‘stuff’.
