Have you ever noticed the amount of ‘buts’ you used in your conversations, thoughts and writing?

For example: It is my goal to have 500 unique visitors a day but I do not know the best way to achieve that.

I want to be happier but there are just too many bad things that happen to me.

What if you remove the ‘but’ and replace with a neutral sounding word ‘and’?

It is my goal too have 500 unique visitors a day and I do not know the best way to achieve that and I will learn more about driving traffic techniques.

I want to be happier and I know bad things are happening to me and I will come out of that a stronger person.

Do you notice the difference? Read the above 4 sentences aloud and you will realize the sentence that used the word ‘but’ sounds negative, whiny, excusable… whereas when you use ‘and’ instead it projects hope, not a dead end, but a call for help either from yourself or another person.

I am guilty of using a lot of ‘buts’ - read through my earlier posts and you will know what I am talking about.

So, I want to make this change and I know I can do it!
