To Be Personal Or Not To Be…

that is the question a lot of bloggers may have thought of in their blogging endeavours. For me, a personal touch in a business blog is a plus rather than a minus. In this digital age where you have IVR taking your calls, and online grocery services, and automated websites for your purchases, a personal feel to a business blog is a warm change.

That is why most blogs have a picture of the writer/owner on the blog as it connects the blogger to the reader. (doesn’t matter if the picture is 5 years old - haha who knows?). My picture was taken in December 07, so it is still valid ;0).

To conclude, you can still be a voice of authority in your line of expertise but at the same time insanely human who has to eat, s**t, sleep and with dramas in your life. Being personable makes you real and people will respect your success more if they know you are not a robot.
